Rent2Buy.com announced the beta launch of its “rent-to-buy” interactive store marketplace. Utilizing its proprietary backend technology, Rent2Buy enables retailers a hassle free means of creating additional revenue streams through the rent-to-own business model. The site will serve as an aggregator – providing consumers with a wide-ranging selection across multiple categories including real estate, automobiles, furniture, jewelry and appliances.
Rent2Buy is the brainchild of Automoti developer Moti Kahana. Instead applying the rental fee for those items as a down payment towards their future purchase,” Kahana said.
The rent-to-own concept is especially appealing in today’s economically trying times. Rent2Buy.com will introduce the concept to a wider range of consumers – giving them the ability to “try before they buy” on big ticket purchases without the financial strain caused by outright or credit purchases.
